All Other Ceremonies

Non-Legal Ceremonies are a great alternative for those couples who don’t want to be officially married, are unable to be legally married or had so much fun the first time, want to sentimentally reaffirm their love all over again. Wedding Celebrants LOVE love no matter what the circumstances!

I offer two Non-Legal Ceremonies: Renewal of Vows and a Commitment Ceremony.

Renewal of Vows

After a while, couples love to reaffirm their commitment to each other by renewing their wedding vows. This strengthens your bond and reminds each other of the all the reasons you got married in the first place. These can be elaborate affairs just like an official wedding, or they can be sneaky destination affairs with just close family and friends in attendance. The choice is up to you!

Commitment Ceremonies

Until same-sex marriage became legal in Australia in 2017, many couples opted for a commitment ceremony instead - pretty much identical to a marriage ceremony, but not recognised by law. Now that same-sex marriage is legal, many couples are now happily becoming legally married. But this is not to say there isn't any place for commitment ceremonies anymore! Some couples prefer the simplicity of a commitment ceremony without all the burdensome paperwork. Other couples opt for a commitment ceremony due to complicated legal situations (e.g. previous marriages). Whatever the reason, if a commitment ceremony is your thing, I am more than happy to perform this for you and your partner!
